As one of the sponsored team by Project RIDE, Emperor Motorsports proudly participate in educating the youth about the dangers of smoking and the fight against Tobacco Industry's presence at events giving away free samples.  Conley Caraballo High School is just one of the schools that Project RIDE has selected to participate in their fight against smoking and tobacco presence. Presentations at a high school are usually only an hour long and typically takes place during the lunch hour,  But during that short time, fliers, packets, stickers, and information pertaining to the anti-Tobacco industry are passed out as students walk by.  For an added attraction, Project RIDE elected to have a few cars on display.

Today's event, an Evolution VIII '03, is shown. Several students passed by showing extreme interests in the car on display. Pictures were taken by wide-eyed students with one claiming that this car was his dream car. While this goes on, Project RIDE representatives pass out give-aways and offer surveys to be filled out by the students so Project RIDE can better understand and prepare for the task at hand against the tobacco industries. The day ends with a surprise award from the Vice Principal awarding the car owner, Best of Show.

About Project RIDE :

Project RIDE was started eight years ago due to recognition that subcultures like music, skateboarding, or racing can tie together communities in powerful ways. These ties often transcend different ethnicities, classes, and groups. Project RIDE was started to mobilize the "import car" culture against tobacco industry takeover through leadership development, policy adoption and education campaigns. RIDE is a highly visible program with over 300 volunteers, most of whom are male and ages 18-35 from California.
