Eleven sports cars on the road together is a phenomenal feeling. The cruise took the team from the very base of Highway 92 (where it touches the peninsula) up to the junction of Skyline Blvd (4 corners). A brief stop at the famous Alice's (http://www.yelp.com/...aurant-woodside), netted some great shots of bike(rs) that were out enjoying the fantastic weather as well.

From there, we snaked our way through La Honda and into the some of the most awe inspiring forests and landscaping California had to offer. Our drive then continued following the winding routes of Route 35 until we met the infamous Stage Road. Often a favorite road for it's super tight winding and twisty bends, it's a road that is always good for at least two great laughs and hearty smile (just mind the cyclists, they're everywhere). A brief stop half way through Stage road allowed us to take in the scenery and also enjoy the company of some friendly horses.
Our twisty fun satiated, we retired back to the smooth and rolling coastal route of Highway 1, enjoying the salty breeze and the calm ride up to our destination for lunch, Gorilla BBQ. And what a lunch it was! Amazing bbq and mac/cheese which gave us all instant food coma. For most Emperors, this was a first time experience at Gorilla's BBQ but it won't be our last! A perfect way to end a fantastic day of great roads, great food, and great friends.
